By Carol B. Kaplan
Once upon a time, there was a little red hen who scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered some grains of wheat. She called her neighbors and said, "If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?"
A delightful musical-play that teaches 4 and 5 year-olds the basics principles of sharing, responsibility, and team work all in our unique Town Hall Theatre environment. Children learn to be comfortable on stage through memorization, games, and singing.

Please send your child to class with snack and water. Closed toe shoes are required. Clothing should allow kids to “move." (The rule of thumb is clothes they would feel comfortable doing a cartwheel in.)
Parent participation through volunteering is important to Town Hall Kids programs. This course requires parents to complete at least one volunteer job. You may select which job you would like to sign up for at the Parent/Teacher meeting, which is held at the end of the first day of class. These jobs vary in time required and involvment, but none will keep you from seeing your child's performance.
You may "opt-out" of volunteering by bringing a $30.00 check made payable to Town Hall Theatre Company to the Parent/Teacher meeting.
Beginning Fall 2011: scripts and music for class will be provided via email before the first class. Please print and bind the script and have your child bring it to the first day of class. Copies of scripts are no longer provided in class.
